Sri Lanka's contingent of peacekeepers of the 12th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company serving at the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at the Level-2 hospital received the first dose of the “AstraZeneca “ COVID-19 vaccine during 6-7 May 2021.

Accordingly, 120 troops received the vaccine at the UNIFIL Hospital in Lebanon.
