Major General Priyanka Fernando, Director General General Staff (DGGS) at the Army HQ recently made an official visit to the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi and met the Commander, Security Forces-Kilinochchi, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe.

The DGGS on the arrival at SFHQ (KLN) was warmly welcomed by the Commander Security Forces-Kilinochchi, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe before the visiting DGGS and the Commander SF-KLN presided a conference to take up current issues regarding ammunition storages and other related security concerns. He also made a field visit to the regional ammunition storage as well.

The General Officer Commanding of the 66 Division Major General Ajith Dissanayake, General Officer Commanding of the 57 Division Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Brigadier Administration and Quartering Brigadier Deepal Hathurusinghe, Director Operations, Brigadier Shantha Ranaweera, Commandant - Central Armament and Ammunition Depot, senior officers from Directorates at the Army HQ and commanding officers of respective battalions also joined the day's arrangements.
