Major General Hemantha Bandara, Commander, Security Forces -Wanni presided a coordinating conference on 'De-mining' at the SFHQ-Wanni on Tuesday (23).

The District Secretary of Vavuniya, Mr Saman Bandulasena, officials of the National Mine Action Center, senior officers of the Division Headquarters, Officers of the Engineer Brigade and a few other ranks attended the conference. The conference focused on the modalities as regards the destruction of old recoveries. |
