The recently-appointed Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Priyantha Perera made a courtesy call on the Northern Province Governor, Hon. Mrs. P. S. M. Charles on Wednesday (3) and had a cordial meeting afterwards with Mr Kanapathipillai Maheshan, District Secretary for Jaffna.

Several important matters, such as COVID- 19 coordination and control operations, progress of Civil-Military Coordination and Reconciliation in Jaffna peninsula were discussed with the Security Force Commander. during those meetings. General Officer Commanding 51 Division and Commander 512 Brigade were also present during the discussions. |
