Brigadier Himal Guruge assumed office on Tuesday (19) as the new Commander Forward Maintenance Area-North Central amid religious observances.

Troops saluted him in a Guard Turnout to the newly-appointed FMA commander at the venue.

Afterwards, Brigadier Guruge signed an official document to signify the acceptance of the new appointment.

Next, he planted a sapling at the venue before he addressed the troops.
