The newly-appointed Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Major General Hemantha Bandara after assuming his office visited religious places in Anuradapura on Monday (18) inclusive of Jaya Srimahabodiya and called on the Atamastanadipathi Most Venerable Pallegama Srinivasa Nayake Thera.

Subsequently, he visited the Ruwanweli Mahaseya, Mirisawetiya, followed by the Sandahirusaya to see the construction. His visit concluded after visiting Mihinthale where he observed the construction of Dharmasalawa at Mihinthale Rajamaha Viharaya. He also had a courtesy call on the Most Venerable Walahahengunawewe Dhammarathana Nayake Thero. |
