The newly-constructed Other Ranks (ORs) holiday bungalow, 'Thuru Arana' and the Regimental Sergeant Majors (RSMs) quarters of 3 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (3 SLCMP) in Anuradhapura were declared open by the Commander Forward Maintenance Area-North Central and Colonel Commandant of the SLCMP, Major General Ranjan Premalal on the invitation of the Commanding Officer 3 SLCMP Lieutenant Colonel A. Wijekoon on Saturday (9).

On arrival, the Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer. Then the ORs bungalow and the RSMs quarter were officially opened at the auspicious minute. Afterwards, troops were addressed by the day's Chief Guest by highlighting his vision for Military Police duties, investigations, discipline and administration.

The Staff Officer I of the FMA, Lieutenant Colonel M.M.M.P Mahesh Kumara, the Commanding Officer 4 SLCMP Lieutenant Colonel R.R.P Perera and the Commanding Officer 5 SLCMP Lieutenant Colonel P.D.I Perera together with several Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks attended the programme. |
