Considering the need for essential sanitary facilities in a house of a civil employee serving the 62 Division HQ of the Security Force HQ-Wanni, Major General Samantha Silva, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 62 Division HQ pocketed out his own money and erected it for the employee, living along Maithree Mawatha, Padvi-Parakramapura.

The GOC while the construction was on visited the location and shared views with the family of the civil staffer and the Army troops, headed by Lance Corporal D.Shelton of 7 SLAC. The beneficiary is a father of two daughters and has been working there for many years. It was vested in the family on Saturday (2). |
