4 Gemunu Watch (GW) troops of the 231 Brigade of the 23 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - East provided assistance to develop the children’s park in Chenkalady after a request for assistance was extended to the Commander, SF-East.

The newly- developed park at the invitation of the residents at Pulayaveli village was opened on Thursday (31). The development project was funded by Eelapatheeswarar Aalayam Temple in Wembley, London.

The re-developed Anantham Children’s Park in Pulayaveli village, opened by Colonel S.P.G Gamage, Commander, 231 Brigade is the only park and the ground available in the area for children. |
