Troops of the 53 Division in Dambulla extending their hand of friendship to needy families put up a new house in Kimbissa, Sigiriya through their manpower and resources before it was warmed during a brief ceremony on Thursday (10).

The project was made a reality on the guidelines given by Major General Nishantha Manage after their helpless plight was brought to the notice of the troops by neighbours and the Grama Niladhari.

Major General Nishantha Manage adhering to health guidelines handed over the keys to the new house to the deserving family in front of their relatives and a representative gathering of officers and other ranks. |
