Brigadier Harendra Peiris of Gajaba Regiment assumed duties as the 27th Director in the Directorate of Movement at the Army Headquarters on Friday (6).

The newly-appointed Director left his signature for an official document after brief religious observances and symbolized the acceptance of the new office.

The new Director Brigadier Harendra Peiris succeeded Brigadier Mohan Rathnayake, who has now been appointed as the Director of Sports at Panagoda.

Staff Officers and Other Ranks of the Directorate were present at the occasion. |
