Brigadier Manada Yahampath of Sri Lanka Light Infantry assumed duties as the 32nd Director of the Directorate of Staff Duties on Wednesday (28) during a simple ceremony.

The newly-appointed Director signed an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office amid religious observances.

Staff officers of the Directorate together with few Other Rankers attended the occasion.

He succeeds Brigadier Chandana Wijayasundera who has now been appointed as the General Officer Commanding of the Engineering Division. |
