Troops of the 11 Division in Pallekele felicitated the newly-promoted General Officer Commanding, Major General Sarada Samarakoon when he arrived there on Monday (12) after receipt of his promotion ranks.

Troops welcomed him in a formal Guard Turnout at the entrance and a Guard of Honour afterwards.

He also added memories by symbolically planting a sapling in the camp premises.

Brigade Commanders of under command Brigades, Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the occasion. |
