Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) and troops of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Training School (VFTS) on Monday (12) rushed and assisted to extinguish a sudden bush fire that erupted in the general area of Wanghedigala in Haldummulla.

Troops immediately reached the location on the directions of Major General Keerthi Costa, Commander, Security Forces - Central and doused it with the support of some civilians.

Meanwhile, the same above troops on Tuesday (13) rushed and assisted to extinguish another sudden bush fire that erupted in the general area of Norwood, close to Haldummulla on the directions of Major General Keerthi Costa, Commander, Security Forces - Central. |
