Troops of the Security Forces-Central offered their skilled manpower and technical expertise to start construction of one more new house for a needy family in the general area of Haldummulla in Badulla on Friday (25) under the ‘Janapathi Gama Samaga Pilisandara' project.

Following instructions given to Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army by HE the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the Army was invited to build a new house for a needy family whose house was extensively damaged due to an elephant attack.

Major General Keerthi Costa, Commander Security Forces, Central enabled the technically-skilled engineering and other troops to start the project immediately. |
