15(Volunteer) Gemunu Watch (GW) troops of the 542 Infantry Brigade under the 54 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni, manning the Kunchikulam roadblock in Mannar around 10.30 pm on Thursday (24) apprehended a suspect with 50 kgs of Jelly Fish while being taken to Colombo on board an SLTB bus.

The suspect, resident in Tharapuram Lebbe Lane in Mannar who was also the conductor in the same bus. The stock of jelly fish, worth about Rs 6,25,000=. Investigations are underway. |
