17 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops in Omanthai on the directions of the Commander, 562 Brigade, Colonel Senaka Premawansa recently cleared a huge tree fallen to the Ganeshapuram Temple premises following a heavy storm that swept across the area.

At the request of the Divisional Secretary, troops along with civilians in the area cleared the tree within a few hours. |
