Troops of the 22 Division, 23 Division and 24 Divisions under command to the Security Force Headquarters – East during 7-8 August carried out sterilization and disinfection programmes at 766 polling Centers and Counting Centers in the Eastern Province after the General Elections in collaboration with PHIs and Urban Council officials in order to ensure no recurrence of any outbreak in the region.

The programme was completed under the guidance of Major General Chinthaka Gamage, Commander, Security Forces - East with the support of all ranks. |
