Troops of the 14 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) under command to the 64 Division of the Security Force HQ – Mullaittivu in the wake of gradual re-opening of public schools after the deadly epidemic recently carried out a thorough cleaning programme inside the Mannakandala Primary school, together with teachers, parents and students.

Civil Affairs Officers of 64 Division and 641 Brigades joined their hands with Commanding Officers of 14 SLSR and other troops who were behind organizing the community project since the school remained closed for some time due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Major General Jagath Rathnayake, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu and the General Officer Commanding, 64 Division gave their blessings to the project. |
