On the guidelines given by Major General Channa Weerasooriya, General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division, a conference to discuss 'Disaster Mitigation Plan of Trincomalee district' was held at the 22 Infantry Division Headquarters on Thursday (13).

During conference sessions, comprehensive briefings on Disaster Mitigation Plan for the district were presented by respective Brigade Commanders in specific areas. General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and Staff Officers of the 22 Infantry Division and officials from the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) Trincomalee also attended the event. |
