The Sri Lanka Army in Jaffna, dedicated to preserve environment, launched another tree planting project in Palaly under the guidance of Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Commander Security Forces - Jaffna on Tuesday (06).

The project, named `Nandana Uyana' aims to extend the green cover in Palaly, and also as a whole in the Jaffna peninsula. Senior Staff Officers of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna, Officers and Other Ranks witnessed the occasion. |
