Colonel Tiral De Sliva of Sri Lanka Light Infantry on Monday (29) assumed office as the 7th Brigade Commander of the 643 Brigade in Muthiyankaddu amid religious observances and military formalities.

On his arrival, a Guard Turnout greeted him at the entrance before he entered the new office.

Colonel Tiral De Silva amid chanting of the Maha Sangha left his signature for a formal document and signified the acceptance of the new office.

To mark the occasion, he planted a sapling in the premises and joined an All Rank tea arrangement. |
