The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 54 Division Major General Indrajith Bandara visited the Madu Shrine on Monday (22) in order to assess security arrangements, being made by 544 Brigade troops for conduct of the upcoming annual feast in August.

Afterwards, the GOC also visited the 544 Brigade HQ, and its under command battalions 24 (Sri Lanka Light Infantry) SLLI and 24 Gajaba Regiment (GR) and addressed the troops during his visits. |
