HE the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on the recommendations of Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army has promoted two Senior Brigadiers D.G.S Senarathyapa (Sujeewa Senarathyapa), General Officer Commanding, 57 Division and W.A.S.S Wanasinghe (Sanjaya Wanasinghe), Director, Directorate of Overseas Operations to the rank of Major General, with effect from 2 June 2020. |
