Brigadier (Dr) Nishantha Pathirana of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) assumed office as the 13th Director of the Directorate of Medical Services at the Army Headquarters during a brief ceremony this morning (13).

He signified the acceptance of his new office by symbolically signing an official document at the occasion. He succeeded Brigadier Nishantha Fernando
