93 More Heading Homeward after Quarantining

Upon completion of the quarantine process of more than 3 weeks, one more group of 93 quarantined individuals proceeded back home from the Army-managed Galkanda and Katukeliyawa Quarantine Centers (QCs) this morning (30) after necessary medical formalities and receipt of quarantine certificates.
The returnees were provided water bottles, lunch packs and 38 elderly men were given a pack, including a new sarong and a T-shirt.
Meanwhile, Army also provided transport facilities to them to go to their home towns. The Commanding Officers of the QCs were there to see them off. |
