Colonel Sampath Fernando of Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment assumed duties as 7th Brigade Commander of the 622 Brigade of the 62 Division under the SFHQ-Wanni on Wednesday (15) at his office in the Brigade Headquarters in Helambawewa, Welioya.

The newly-appointed Brigade commander signed an official document and signified the acceptance of the new office in the presence of a few Officers and Other Ranks. The simple occasion culminated with an All Rank tea arrangement. |
