Troops of the 574 Brigade and the 9 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment at the request of the school carried out a Shramadana drive at Bharathipuram School - Kilinochchi on Wednesday (4).

The programme was launched on the instructions of Major General B.P.S de Silva, General Officer Commanding, 57 Infantry Division and under the supervision of the Commander 574 Brigade. Army personnel, together with a group of civilians in the area contributed to this Shramadana campaign and cleaned the school and its surroundings. |
