Colonel Chamila Munasinghe assumed office as the 22nd Artillery Brigade Commander on Tuesday (3), amid religious observances at the Artillery Brigade HQ at Panagoda.

The new Brigade Commander on arrival was greeted to a Guard Turnout by Artillery troops at the main entrance. Subsequently at his office, he signed an official document symbolizing the official acceptance of the new office amid ‘Seth Pirith’ chanting.

He succeeded Brigadier Manjula Karunarathne who recently assumed office as Director Psychological Operations at the Army Headquarters. |
