Brigadier G.W.L Mahinkanda of Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment (SLA) took over duties as the new Director, Real Estate and Quartering at the Army Headquarters, Sri Jayewardenepura on Monday (2), during a brief ceremony at his office.

After brief religious observances, Brigadier G.W.L Mahinkanda left his signature for a formal document to signify the acceptance of his new office in the presence of several officers.

He succeeded Brigadier Priyanka Fernando, who has been now appointed as the new General Officer Commanding, 58 Division. Brigadier Mahinkanda, prior to this new appointment served as the Chief Executive Officer at Nelumpokuna theatre. |
