As part of its community-oriented projects, troops in the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi carried out cleaning work in the Kanakambigai Amman Kovil premises at Iranamadu on Saturday (29).

A group of 35 troops with four Officers of the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi participated in the event and received praise from Hindu priests and devotees alike.

Meanwhile, 19 SLLI troops along with villagers conducted a Shramadana campaign at Thewanpiddi Francis Xavier Roman Catholic church premises on Saturday (29). 651 Brigade Commander supervised and coordinated the project.

In addition to Army personnel, a group of 10 civilians also supported the project, carried out on the instructions of Major General D.M.H.D Bandara, General Officer Commanding, 65 Division. |
