Members of the Air Force, Police, Department of Forest and Wildlife, Government officials in the Pradeshiya Sabawa, Sigiriya and Urban Council-Dambulla, Hotel Associations of the area, Hoteliers, civil society activists and 53 Division troops launched a project to clean up either side of the road from Inamaluwa to Digampathana, covering about 4 km in length Sunday (9) and put up 20 awareness notice boards for protection of the environment along the road patch.

The project was implemented by the General Officer Commanding Major General H.H.A.S.P.K Senarathne in collaboration with representatives of all those organizations. |
