Hon Minister of Small & Medium Business and Enterprise Development, Industries and Supply Chain Management, Hon Wimal Weerawansa (MP), along with the Secretary to the Ministry Mr. J.A Ranjith and several other officials during a tour to the north visited the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Friday (17).

Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna welcomed the ministerial delegation and presented them with a detailed briefing on the current status quo and the role and tasks of the Security Forces in Jaffna.

Few senior officers also were at the venue, including the General Officer Commanding, 51 Division during the meeting.

Meanwhile, Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Commander, Security Forces -Jaffna on Friday (17) paid a courtesy call on the newly-appointed Northern Province Governor, Mrs P.S.M Charles at her office in Jaffna.

During the courtesy meeting, both of them discussed matters of relevance to the welfare of Jaffna civilians and projects, being pursued by the troops in Jaffna. |
