Brigadier S.P.A.I.M.B Samarakoon of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) assumed office this morning (13) as the 20th Director of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (DEME) at the Army Headquarters, Sri Jayawardenapura.

The newly-appointed Director signed an official document and symbolized the formal acceptance of his new office amid religious observances.
