121 Brigade HQ of the 12 Division under command to the Security Force HQ- Central marked its 6th anniversary on Thursday (9) at the Brigade Headquarters in a formal ceremony.

On the anniversary day, 18 Gemunu Watch troops presented a Guard Turnout to Brigadier N.C Somaweera, 121 Brigade Commander and saluted him at the entrance.

Afterwards, the Brigade Commander planted a Mango sapling in the premises followed by an all rank tea and a subsequent lunch treat.

Senior Officers in under command formations, Brigade’s staff Officers and Other Ranks attended the event. |
