Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) in order to enhance working knowledge of English among Other Ranks launched a project to teach English as per a proposal made by Major General Laksiri Waduge, Commander, Security Forces - Central and the course culminated on Thursday (9) during a simple closing ceremony.

This course was inaugurated on 25 November 2019 with the participation of 21 troops serving the SFHQ-Cen under the tutelage of Lieutenant A.L.S.D Liyanarachchi, English Instructor at the SFHQ-Cen. Course attendees showcased their speaking skills and eloquence by staging several practical features.
