By responding to a request made by the Colombo National Hospital to the Commander of the Army, troops of the 6 Gemunu Watch and 11 Vijayabhahu Infantry Regiment of the 142 Brigade of the 14 Division renovated the cardiology surgery ward in the hospital and got rid of bugs and insects, which had infiltrated mattresses and pillows in the ward.

The project was carried out during 11- 12 December on the directions of the 142 Brigade Commander. A group of 20 soldiers, including Officers took part in this social service.

Troops cemented damaged walls, patched up split sections and laid the plasters before applying paint on the walls. |
