11 Officers and 204 Other Ranks who successfully completed the Special Infantry Operations Course No-69 (SIO) at the Maduruoya Army Training School (ATS) passed out on Saturday (21).

Brigadier Jagath Kodithuwakku, Commandant, Army Training School graced as the Chief Guest of the event.

Captain M. Meegasthenna of Sri Lanka Light Infantry won the award as the best all-round officer, Private K.P.K.K Ananda of Gajaba Regiment was nominated as the Best Firer and the Best All-Round soldier award went to Lance Corporal U.L.D.M Wijendra of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. |
