23 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops, together with the Disaster Management Centre, Irrigation Department, and volunteers renovated badly-eroded Naval Aru canal bank in the general area of Ulla using sandbags on Sunday (8) after torrential rains and spilling waters damaged it.

Troops in spite of heavy downpours took more than five hours to repair and restore it with the support of others. |
