An awareness programme on ‘Human Immune Deficiency Virus and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome’ (HIV & AIDS) was organized by the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi, on the directions of the Commander, Security Forces-Kilinochchi, Major General Vijitha Ravipriya on Monday (9) at the Nelumpiyasa Auditorium.

This awareness lecture was conducted coincident with the ‘World AIDS Day’. More than 700 Army personnel including Officers listened to the lecture. Consultant Venerealogist Dr Chathurika Wickramarathna of the District Hospital, Kilinochchi conducted the awareness programme. |
