The Commander, Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi, Major General G. Vijitha Ravipriya as the Chief Guest attended the ceremonial opening of the newly-constructed 'Hyunseo Jo and Jiyeon Noh' Memorial Library at the Sri Lanka Baptist Church premises in Bharathipuram, Kilinochchi on Tuesday (26).

Students and people joined the opening of the library, built by the South Korean Global Mission Church in memory of both those departed ones. The senior pastor Rev. Sung Eun David Choi supervised and supported the completion of the project.

Lighting of the traditional oil lamp and cutting of the symbolic ribbon by the day's Chief Guest marked the formal inauguration of the new library building amid blessings of pastors.

The GOC of 57 Division, Officers and a large gathering participated in the event, together with civilians. |
