Colonel Janaka Wijayasiri assumed duties as the new Commander 522 Brigade in Kodikamam on Thursday (31) amid a Guard Turnout honour.

Afterwards, the new Commander planted a sapling in the premises as a symbol of memory before he left his signature in an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office. Members of the Maha Sangha invoked blessings on the occasion. Brigade's staff officers, officers of under command establishments were present during the event. |
