Members of the Naval Junior Staff Course No 25 called at the Mechanized Infantry Regimental (MIR) Headquarters at Dambulla on Monday (21), together with two instructors, 22 student officers, including one Bangladesh Naval Officer.

Colonel S.J Priyadarshana, Centre Commandant, MIR on behalf of the Colonel of the Regiment, MIR, welcomed the visiting course attendees. At the outset, a briefing on the role and tasks of the MIR was presented to the visitors, enabling them to receive knowledge on Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) of the MIR.

Exchange of mementos brought the programme to culmination. |
