Brigadier Hemantha Bandara of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment assumed office as the Commandant at the Army Vocational Training Centre (AVTC) in Kalaoya, Saliyawewa on Monday (21).

The newly-appointed Commandant formally signed a document and signified the acceptance of office amid religious observances.

He afterwards addressed the troops including those who are following courses at the AVTC. Staff officers at the AVTC and Other Ranks joined the occasion. |
