Ms Sidonia Gabriel, First Secretary (Political) to the Embassy of Switzerland in Colombo during a tour to the North paid a courtesy call on Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna on Tuesday (20) at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J).

Major General Wanigasooriya presented a comprehensive account of the security, social development and reconciliation moves of the SFHQ-J and highlighted how the civil - military cooperation projects are in progress in the peninsula.

A few Senior Military Staff Officers at the Headquarters were also present during the interaction. |
