An educational tour, organized by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) on account of its 22nd anniversary took place on Wednesday (3) with the participation of 04 Officers and 116 Other Ranks.

Colonel A.C.A De Zoysa, Commanding Officer - SIU of the SLCMP was instrumental in organizing it covering ports, museum and the planetarium.

The group visited Colombo Port, including the Jaya Cargo Administration Area, Control Room, Port Operation Area & Dock Yard, enabling the visitors to receive firsthand experience with elaborate lecture assistance, delivered by marine engineers on hand. Towards the end of the tour, they visited the Colombo museum and the planetarium. |
