House Wives Association of Central Colombo following coordination made by 653 Brigade troops of the 65 Division under the supervision of the 653 Brigade Commander, Colonel J.A.J.L.B Udowita, together with 17 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) troops recently distributed a stock of books and accessories among under privileged pre-school kids at Therakandal, Kaleimagalan.

It was launched with the blessings of the General Officer Commanding, 65 Division Major General Wasantha Kumarapperuma.

50 packs consisted of school stationery and accessories and 04 gift packets for teachers were distributed on the occasion. A group of parents of those kids also participated in the event. |
