On an initiative taken by Major General Dharshana Hettiarrachchi, Commander Security Forces - Jaffna, Mr Mohammed Niyas, Chairman of Jaffna Muslims' Association sponsored the distribution of dry ration essentials among a few more than 100 deserving Muslim families, resident in the general areas of Chavakachcheri, Shathi Beach and Nagadeepa areas on Saturday (15).

Those dry ration packets were given away by Major General Hettiarachchi and members of donors during meetings at Chavakachcheri, Shathi Beach and Nagadeepa.

The dry ration distribution was attended by Muslim community leaders, Army Officers and those beneficiaries with family members. |
