Brigadier Chanaka Weragoda of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) assumed office as the Director, Directorate of Pay and Records on Tuesday (4) amid religious blessings.

He succeeded Major General L Wijesundara who retired recently. Placing his signature in a formal document, he signified the acceptance of the new office as ‘Seth Pirith’ chanting continued.
