A group of All Ceylon Jamiyathul Ulama Association of Jaffna and Kilinochchi District Chairman Mr S. Sufyan, together with several Moulavis met Major General Dharshana Hettiarrachchi, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna on Sunday (19) in order to receive an update on the security concerns in the Jaffna peninsula.

Major General Hettiarrachchi highlighted the significance of maintaining law and order as well as prevention of the young ones falling into extremist beliefs and violence. Those Moulavis and Muslim community leaders thanked the Jaffna Commander for clarifications and awareness he made. |
